Public Sector Information

The European Commission is considering whether to revise the Directive on the re-use of public sector information (PSI) in 2008. FEP attended a meeting on the 16 February 2007 organised within the network of ePSIplus project, funded by the European Commission and focused on the implementation of the European Directive on PSI re-use. Some of the topics covered by the Directive may have a strong impact on the publishing industry like legal publishing; touristy and maps, art books, etc. as far as commercial policy by the public sector are concerned.
